Join Our Beginning Farmer Listserv

The Virginia Beginning Farmer and Rancher Coalition has established a beginning farmer listserv. The Beginning Farmer Listserv acts as a communication network for farmers, ranchers, educators, and service providers in Virginia.  Posts from the Beginning Farmer listserv may include:

  • Resources aimed at beginning farmers and ranchers.
  • Events and programs directed towards beginning farmers and ranchers
  • Job/apprenticeship/mentoring opportunities for beginning farmers and ranchers
  • Virginia Beginning Farmer and Rancher Coalition Program updates

How to Post to the Listserv

You may post to the listserv by formatting your message the way you would like it to be received, sending it in an email to vabeginningfarmer@vt.edu, and asking that your message be posted to the Beginning Farmer listserv. A member of the VBFRC team will moderate the list to avoid spam messages and inappropriate material.

How to Subscribe

Send an email message to vabeginningfarmer@vt.edu with the subject "Join Listserv"; ask that your email address be added to the Beginning Farmer Listserv.  You will receive a follow-up reply letting you know you have been added to the listserv.

How to Unsubscribe

You may unsubscribe from the listserv by scrolling to the bottom of any listserv message and hitting the "Unsubscribe" link. In addition, you can unsubscribe by signing into Google Groups, finding the Beginning Farmer list, and hitting the "Leave This Group" button.
